IJslander Celebrates 30 Years

Some pieces of play equipment last for generations. The play structure on Sumatrastraat in Zwolle is a great example. It was installed by IJslander 30 years ago and is still enjoyed by children from the neighbourhood every day.

We celebrated this special anniversary together with local residents, children from the neighbourhood and the Municipality of Zwolle. The children decorated the play equipment, and everyone raised a glass of alcohol-free champagne and enjoyed cake to celebrate 30 years of play.

The play structure demonstrates the durability of stainless steel. Even after three decades, it still looks good and continues to invite children to play. It is a play area that not only stands the test of time, but has also been a familiar meeting place in the neighbourhood for many years.
