Colourful CityBox® in Amsterdam

In November 2025, a new colourful CityBox® was installed at Adidasplein in Amsterdam. This sports facility was created through a collaboration between Daily Paper, Adidas, and the district of Amsterdam. The existing goal areas were expanded with a completely new playing field, allowing children from the neighbourhood to actively play sports and come together.

The various coloured dots in green, red, and black form a striking pattern that perfectly matches the identity of the Adidasplein. In addition, the surface has been completely renewed. The new asphalt provides a safe, smooth, and comfortable surface for street football and other sports activities.

With this new CityBox®, children, young people and neighbours now have a place where they can exercise, meet, and have fun together. A colourful addition to Amsterdam-Southeast that will offer years of sporting enjoyment.
