Kupa Dirk

For real climbers there is the Kupa Dirk. This climbing equipment challenges children to move between the different plateaus. With climbing nets, ropes and ladders, this equipment with wooden uprights is a challenge for enterprising children. You can climb on many different ways to get from one side to the other. For an extra challenge, go via a moving rope ladder or climbing net or take the suspension bridge, beam or stainless steel swing bridge. On and off the device? Then you go via knotted ropes, sliding bars, wooden ladders on climbing nets. Possibilities are various!

The Kupa equipment are mainly made from FSC-certified naturally formed Robinia hardwood with durability class 1. This is used in tree trunk form in frames, in ladder rungs and in plank form in the roofs.
The structural constructions such as floors and side panels are made of Douglas heartwood from trees with the same durability class as Siberian larch.
The plywood is a standard birch plywood with a phenolic coating for outdoor use (colored brown in the drawings and photos). The Danish spruce is used for decorative purposes.
All fasteners are made of stainless steel. Connections where bolts are countersunk are provided with a cover cap. The nets and ropes of the Kupa equipment are made of Ø16mm polypropylene with a steel core.
